On November 5 people across the UK celebrate Bonfire Night. There are small fireworks parties in back gardens along with big organised displays in public parks. The reason we do it is because it's the anniversary of an attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament led by a man called Guy Fawkes.

As a little girl growing up, my mum and dad have always had a tradition on Bonfire Night. Every year as a family we would get our wellies and hats on because in England in November you need them! We would walk up to the complex next to a train station and see the public firework display and huge bonfire they would light up. There would be food and rides for all the children as well. It was an amazing tradition growing up.

So ever since Ellis was born I wanted to continue this tradition with him. So this year we did it a little different as we have moved away. So we decided that we would find the local one and on the 5th November we went to with Nathan's mum to see them. There wasn't a huge bonfire light up but we did see loads of huge fire that other people were having in there gardens.

I love creating or continuing traditions that bring back so many childhood memories for me. Do you celebrate bonfire night? or are you not one for the cold?

A Little walk with nature.

My husband and I have recently moved our family in to the country side. We live in England so it is well known for it's green green grass and farm lands. Now that we live in it, and my husband will agree with me on this, I have never appreciated it as much as we do now. Anyway, We have started a little tradition as a family on Sunday to take our little puppy on a country nature walk. And we had family over this past weekend and we were able to take them out on our new tradition as well. I am very grateful for all the little things that have come in to our lives these past few weeks.

Thank you for reading and supporting my blog. What do you enjoy about nature walks? Leave a comment below?

We went to Disneyland Paris for our first holiday as a family.

A week after me and Nathan got married last month we had planned and organised our first family holiday to Disneyland Paris Resort a week after the wedding. It wasn't until that week before we decided that we were going to fly to paris. We were going to take a road trip to France and set off on Thursday but we travelled on the Sunday instead.

Sitting and waiting for the Disney Magic Parade, we got front row seats and Ellis was just so excited to see the castle because we were sat right infant of the disney castle and he kept pointing at it.

We really enjoyed our first holiday together and can't wait for many more adventures to come and for us to share it with you

Here is our Disney Vlog...

Day Out At: Metro Shopping Centre

Yesterday we decided to have a little ride out in the car. So we waited until Ellis was up from his nap and set off in the car. We ended up getting on the road up to the Metro Shopping Centre in Gateshead. We spend about 6 hours here in total without realising what time it was.

We started off looking for the toilets. You know how it is when you have babies. Whether it's you or your child needs the toilet someone always has to go.

Subway was on the menu for us. The cookie I halved with Ellis because I'm nice like that. After a long day of unexpected shopping and walking all the way around the shops. I got Ellis his Bullseye toy that we saw earlier on that day in the Disney store. We love the Disney store. I couldn't believe how many soft toys there were this time we went. Ellis, of course seemed to like ALL of them. He had his eyes on his Bullseye toy. So Mummy treated him for being such a good boy that day. And it will add to his collection anyway.

We had a late day out. I got myself some pyjamas bottoms from Primark. When we finally got home. I got Ellis ready for bed in his new pyjamas. He also got new ones aswell. I got him ready for bed and Ellis says to me as we are going upstairs "I get Dog" meaning his Bullseye horsey. He cuddled his all the way home and all night. Even now he carries him around with him and sleeps with him tonight aswell. I think it's his new favourite toy. It's so cute.

Enjoy
